Alright folks! You can now buy the official Gorguts beer! Imperial Obscuripa (Imperial Black IPA) is an extra strong 750 ml beer with 66,6 IBU -8%! . The most dissonant beer of our time is now brewing in Asbestor, Quebec by Microbrasserie Moulin 7 in honor to the Montreal death metal veterans! This year is the 20th anniversary of Obscura album and that was a good enough excuse to start brewing this thing!
„This Imperial black IPA is meant to be a complex blend between the roundness of Quebec’s malts, sweet bitter of American hop and alcohol’s warmth.” The beer will be produced in special bottles with the Gorguts logo and brewed in limited quantities! The production of the beer was started in late November this year. Gorguts guitarist also helped in the brewing process. "Luc is the big brother of one of my friends with whom I was making music, so I had the chance to meet him several times. I told him about the idea of making a beer for Gorguts a year ago maybe." says Danick Pellerin from Microbrasserie Moulin 7.
