Gene Hoglan is by far, one of the strongest names coming from the world of thrash & death metal. He is best known for his involvement in numerous bands , such as Dark Angel, Death, Dethklok, Strapping Young Lad etc. In this interview, Gene recalls his work with Chuck Schuldiner of Death during Individual Thought Patterns & Symbolic era, Jeff Becerra & Possessed, the Bay Area scene, „Death to posers“, Paul Baloff, his time as a Slayer roadie, new Dark Angel album , Galaktikon and some of the latest projects he’s involved in.
